3M Takes Aim At DuPont Teflon Products In Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 6:40 PM EDT) -- 3M Innovative Properties Co. has accused DuPont Co. of making Teflon products that infringe a patent covering the processing of fluoropolymers used in the coating industry.

The complaint, lodged Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, claims that DuPont’s aqueous fluoropolymers — including several Teflon resins — infringe U.S. Patent Number 7,358,296.
