FERC Orders NERC To Close Standards Loophole

Law360, New York (March 19, 2010, 5:35 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has given the North American Electric Reliability Corp. 90 days to shore up its procedures for developing mandatory bulk electric system reliability standards, aiming to close a loophole that allows NERC voting members to block FERC directives on reliability matters.
