Court Approves Atrium Disclosure Statement

Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 1:27 PM EDT) -- Window and door maker Atrium Corp. has won court approval of its disclosure statement, allowing the company to move forward in soliciting votes for its reorganization plan to cut its debt burden by $350 million.

Judge Brendan L. Shannon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved Atrium's disclosure statement for distribution to creditor groups on Friday, ruling that it contains adequate information to allow creditors to make an informed decision as to whether to accept the company's plan.
