Meridian Exits Chapter 11

Law360 (January 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A plan to drive the car parts maker Meridian Automotive Systems, Inc., out of bankruptcy went into gear last week, ending the company’s long search for a viable exit strategy.

The company’s plan to surface from Chapter 11, with the help of a $167 million in financing from Deutsche Bank AG subsidiaries, was approved on Dec. 6 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
