Arbitron To Pay $4.5M To License Digital ID Patents

Law360, New York (March 24, 2010, 1:18 PM EDT) -- Digimarc Corp. has agreed to license a number of its patents to media research and marketing firm Arbitron Inc. for an immediate payment of $4.5 million, resolving a suit over embeddable digital identification technology.

The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, indicating they would both drop their claims without prejudice to end a declaratory judgment suit filed by Arbitron.
