Ex-Duane Morris Partner Gets Jail Over Salary Fraud

Law360, New York (March 24, 2010, 3:04 PM EDT) -- A former Duane Morris LLP and DLA Piper corporate finance partner based in Singapore has reportedly been sentenced to two months in jail on charges that he lied about how much he made at DLA Piper in order to obtain a higher salary at Duane Morris.

Rudy Lim was sentenced Monday by Singapore district Judge Jill Tan, who told him that as a lawyer, he should have understood the gravity of falsifying documents provided to an employer, according to the Singapore-based newspaper The Straits Times....
