Infant Slings Recalled After Reports Of 3 Deaths

Law360, New York (March 24, 2010, 7:18 PM EDT) -- More than 1 million infant slings made by Infantino LLC are being recalled after they were linked to three suffocation deaths in 2009.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and its Canadian counterpart advised consumers Wednesday to immediately stop using Infantino's SlingRider and Wendy Bellissimo products for infants younger than 4 months of age because of a risk of suffocation.
