Ex-CEO Hits Global Cash Access With Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 2:04 PM EDT) -- The founder of Sightline Payments LLC has accused his former company, casino ATM operator Global Cash Access Holdings Inc., of monopolizing the market.

Sightline filed a complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, accusing GCA of establishing a monopoly “through exclusionary contracts, buying up the competition, disparagement and other noncompetitive conduct.”

The lawsuit seeks $300 million and has asked the court to treble those damages. Sightline alleges violations of sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act and Section 7...
