Law Firm 'Sucks Site' Case Sent Back To State Court

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 6:06 PM EDT) -- Federal courts will not wade into the dustup over a Web site that criticizes Virginia defamation lawyer John W. Dozier, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has said, affirming a lower court decision to leave the case exclusively in state court.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia was within its rights to end the “procedural fencing” of Web site operator Ronald J. Riley, the Fourth Circuit said in an unpublished opinion issued Wednesday.
