EEOC Hits Masonry Co. With Race Bias Suit

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 12:17 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has brought a Title VII case alleging Hispanic employees of a residential masonry company faced harassment and threats of physical violence.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, the EEOC alleges McGee Bros. Co. Inc. maintained a hostile work environment for Hispanic employees and took no action to correct the conduct after the employees complained.
