WTO Says Global Trade Will Grow By 9.5% In 2010

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 1:51 PM EDT) -- Global trade is poised to grow by volume in 2010, rebounding from 2009's decline — the sharpest decline in more than 70 years, according to a report released Friday by the World Trade Organization.

WTO economists expect world trade to expand by 9.5 percent, partially bouncing back from the 12.2 percent contraction in the volume of global trade caused by the global economic crisis in 2009.
