DLA Piper Staffer Claims Sex Harassment, Race Bias

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 5:31 PM EDT) -- A former DLA Piper secretary has filed a suit accusing two partners of sexual harassment and claiming the firm demoted her as a result of her complaints, then denied her a promotion because of her race.

Shonnett Sisco lodged a complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleging Lawrence Uchill, Susan Scannell and Bruce Falby violated Title VII prohibitions against sex and race discrimination and engaged in retaliatory practices.
