ABA IP Section Backs Changes To Patent Reform Bill

Law360, New York (March 29, 2010, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The American Bar Association's Section of Intellectual Property Law has thrown its support behind amended patent reform legislation, writing Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., to express approval with the latest version of the bill.

The section told the senators in a letter Friday that the bill contained improvements in U.S. patent laws, including the clarification of the gatekeeping responsibilities of district courts in determining damages.
