Jury Hands Win To Novell In Unix Copyright Battle

Law360, New York (March 30, 2010, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A jury has found that software company Novell Inc. did not transfer the rights to popular operating system Unix in an asset sale, dealing a blow to another company claiming the rights and raising questions as to how Novell will proceed with a challenge brought to the U.S. Supreme Court over a decision to send the matter to trial.
