Honeywell Sues Rival Over Magnetic Sensor Patent

Law360, New York (April 5, 2010, 2:28 PM EDT) -- Honeywell International Inc. has filed suit against Memsic Inc., claiming the growing competitor in the field of magnetic sensors has willfully infringed a patent covering the technology.

Honeywell brought the complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, accusing Memsic of infringing a patent covering a type of magnetic sensor used in navigation and electronic compassing, vehicle detection, position control, and other areas.
