Taiwanese Co. Took $1M In Kickbacks: True Fitness

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 4:48 PM EDT) -- True Fitness Technology Inc. has sued a firm it hired to monitor quality control at equipment-making facilities in Taiwan, claiming the company violated a contract by taking almost $1 million in “kickbacks” from local manufacturers.

The fitness equipment supplier lodged a complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, alleging Aerotec Industry Inc. and employee Tony C. Dai accepted commissions that blatantly breached the parties' written agreement.
