TVA Repair Project Did Not Trigger NSR: Judge

Law360, New York (April 5, 2010, 7:39 PM EDT) -- A repair project at one of the Tennessee Valley Authority's coal-fired power plants did not trigger New Source Review requirements because it was properly categorized as routine maintenance and did not cause significant net emissions increases in sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxides, a federal judge has ruled.
