Fox Rothschild Partner Took Files From Old Firm: Suit

Law360, New York (April 6, 2010, 7:42 PM EDT) -- Dissolved New York City law firm Akabas & Cohen has launched a lawsuit against Fox Rothschild LLP, saying the firm got nearly $300,000 worth of work product for free when one of A&C's name partners defected.

Former A&C name partner Richard Cohen took four litigation files worth $292,799.75 when he left the firm to join Fox Rothchild, A&C said in a suit filed Monday in the New York County Supreme Court.
