Trade-Secret Litigation Targets Conference Calls

Law360 (January 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- An audio conferencing technology company filed a suit against two companies and two individuals, one a former employee, last Wednesday, claiming misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract.

ClearOne Communications Inc. launched the suit in Utah state court against a former software engineer at the company, Jun Yang, and Andrew Chiang, the former president of an earlier incarnation of ClearOne Communications called ClearOne Inc.

The suit also named the company that Yang founded with Chiang after leaving ClearOne Communications, WideBand Solutions Inc., and Biamp Systems...
