US Oftalmi Recalls Eye, Nose Drops Over Sterility

Law360, New York (April 8, 2010, 1:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall of certain eye and nasal drops manufactured by US Oftalmi Corp. over concerns that they may be contaminated because of unsterile manufacturing conditions..

The agency published a notice on Wednesday noting the Hallandale, Fla.-based company voluntarily initiated the recall, which includes several products packaged in 15-ml plastic bottles that have been provided to food and drug distributors across the country.
