AT&T Faces Contract Suit Over Service Agreement

Law360, New York (April 8, 2010, 1:00 PM EDT) -- A Florida telecommunications services reseller has accused BellSouth Telecommunications Inc., which does business as AT&T Florida, of breaching their contract service agreement by charging per minute for its primary rate interfaces instead of on an unlimited rate plan.

Solar Star Systems LLC, which does business as SkyNet 360, claims that AT&T's departure from its contractual promise to charge a standard monthly rate per PRI without any usage-sensitive charges has cost the company a substantial loss of both profits and prospective business opportunities, according to a complaint...
