High Court Denies Medical Resident Appeal

Law360 (January 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to review an appeals court decision striking down a lawsuit against dozens of medical schools and teaching hospitals in a dispute over an alleged conspiracy to depress medical students’ compensation.

The case, which was never certified for class-action status, could have had far reaching ramifications for the way medical schools teach students.
