Law360, New York (April 19, 2010, 12:29 PM EDT) -- On Feb. 16, 2010, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that live reporting under the scheme established by Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 (“MMSEA-111”) will not begin until the first quarter of 2011 and, in the case of traditional monetary settlements, will be retroactive only with respect to settlements occurring on or after Oct. 1, 2010.
