Experts Urge Fast Senate Action On Carbon Capture

Law360, New York (April 20, 2010, 1:16 PM EDT) -- Experts testifying before the U.S. Senate on Tuesday urged lawmakers to act quickly on carbon capture and storage but warned that a carbon sequestration plan would fail unless all its elements were correctly implemented.

Testifying before the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, both government officials and industry representatives showed support for carbon capture legislation while expressing concern that all elements of a carbon regime be instituted.
