Counsel Accused Of Improper Conduct In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (April 14, 2010, 2:19 PM EDT) -- Advanced Spine Centers Inc. and other defendants in an insurance fraud case have claimed that counsel for plaintiff Metropolitan Property & Casualty Insurance Co. had improper ex parte communications with four individual defendants, who gave Metropolitan affidavits in exchange for dropping them from the suit.

The defendants filed their emergency motion for injunctive relief on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
