Economy, False Marking Spur Q1 Patent Litigation

Law360, New York (April 16, 2010, 6:35 PM EDT) -- Spurred by changes in the U.S. economy and a rise in false patent marking cases, the number of new patent lawsuits filed in the first three months of 2010 increased nearly 20 percent compared with the previous three-month period, according to a Law360 study.
