Air Mattress Maker Denied Rehearing

Law360, New York (January 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Intex Recreation Corp. was denied a rehearing in its patent case against Aero Products International Inc., in which the air mattress maker was granted $5.9 million, an attorney for Aero said on Wednesday.

Intex, which makes indoor and outdoor recreation products, petitioned for a rehearing following a federal appeals court’s decision in October to confirm the award against Intex, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Quality Trading Inc.
