Senate Bill Aims To Jump-Start Offshore Wind Projects

Law360, New York (April 20, 2010, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced a bill to fund research on potential offshore wind energy projects and provide additional renewable energy tax credits to expand incentives for offshore wind development.

Introduced Monday, the Program for Offshore Wind Energy Research and Development Act of 2010 would also require the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a comprehensive road map for the deployment of offshore wind.
