Ex-FERC Official Joins Patton Boggs Energy Practice

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 1:37 PM EDT) -- Suedeen Kelly, a former commissioner with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, has joined Patton Boggs LLP as the firm looks to boost its energy practice.

Kelly, who was appointed to the commission by President George W. Bush in 2003, joins Patton Boggs' Washington office as co-chair of its energy industry group, the firm announced Tuesday.

In late 2009, she declined President Barack Obama's nomination for reappointment to what would have been her third term, choosing to return to the private sector.
