Airport's Double-Billing Suit Against US Lands In CIT

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 3:25 PM EDT) -- In a case that could be the first of its kind, the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport is suing the U.S. government for about $1 million dollars over alleged double billing for three customs officers contracted to work at the airport.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection charged the airport for the officers even though the agency was already being reimbursed for them by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Fresno, Calif.-owned airport claimed in a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
