Salesforce.com To Buy Jigsaw For $142M

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 1:51 PM EDT) -- Salesforce.com Inc. has finalized a $142 million deal to buy Jigsaw Data Corp., a Wikipedia-type business contact database, paving the way for the software company to enter the $3 billion cloud-based market for data services.

Jigsaw and Salesforce.com's combined services will enable companies to buy and manage data that is "seamlessly integrated" with their customer relationship management, or CRM, applications, Salesforce.com said Wednesday.
