Law360, New York (January 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- CBOT Holdings Inc. and the Board of Trade for the City of Chicago filed a motion for summary judgment Thursday in a suit against the Chicago Board Options Exchange, hoping to win declaratory judgment on claims that CBOE violated its own charter and breached an agreement with CBOT.
As part of the motion, CBOT claims that CBOE’s current reorganization will cause CBOT members, who also hold stock in CBOE, to lose their interests in the exchange.
