Ford Defeats Fidelity In Duty-To-Defend Suit

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 2:27 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. has prevailed against Fidelity & Guaranty Insurance Co.'s claims that Ford was obligated to defend one of its dealerships against a personal injury suit in 2001.

Judge Gregory A. Presnell granted Ford's motion for summary judgment and shot down Fidelity's opposing motion in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Tuesday.
