AK Steel Takes Aim At Ex-Workers Who Joined Rival

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 2:21 PM EDT) -- AK Steel Corp. is accusing three former employees of violating their contractual and other legal obligations by accessing confidential information and trade secrets before moving to a subsidiary of industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp AG, which is building a rival carbon steel processing facility.

The suit was originally filed last month in the Court of Common Pleas of Butler County, Ohio, but on Wednesday the defendants — Donald Earley, Dona Ashby and Jonathan Salisbury — removed it to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio....
