PwC, KPMG Tossed From Collins & Aikman Breach Case

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 4:00 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has signed off on a magistrate judge's recommendation to dismiss the remaining claims of negligence and breach of contract against PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and KPMG LLP — the auditors of defunct auto parts maker Collins & Aikman Corp. — in a suit accusing Collins & Aikman executives of sinking the company through a series of ill-advised acquisitions.
