Buffalo Exits SanDisk Flash Memory Patent Suit

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 11:59 AM EDT) -- Flash drive maker SanDisk Corp. has dismissed rival Buffalo Inc. from two patent infringement suits following the defendant's compliance with an order preventing it from importing allegedly infringing USB drives and memory cards into the U.S.

Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on Monday dismissed Buffalo, its parent Melco Holdings Inc. and its importing and distributing arm Buffalo Technology USA Inc., from the suits without prejudice.
