FTC Adds More Defendants To Government Grant Case

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 3:46 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission has added four individuals, 15 corporate entities and five allegations — including the false marketing of supposed credit programs, business opportunities and health products — to a case alleging that the defendants deceptively promised free government grant money to consumers while failing to disclose the actual cost of their products.
