Coke Hit With Suit Over Mich. Groundwater Pollution

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 5:32 PM EDT) -- Current and former residents of Paw Paw, Mich., have launched a property damage suit against The Coca-Cola Co., accusing the soft drink giant of contaminating the town's drinking water with chemical pollutants from a nearby production facility.

Eighty named plaintiffs whose properties and health have allegedly been harmed by pollutants that have migrated from Coca-Cola's Minute Maid plant to their land through the groundwater lodged the complaint Monday in the Circuit Court for the County of Van Buren, Mich.
