ITC To Review Infringement Ruling In Waterloo Case

Law360, New York (April 28, 2010, 1:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has affirmed an administrative law judge's ruling that several Waterloo Furniture Components Ltd. products do not infringe a Humanscale Corp. keyboard support system patent, while agreeing to review the judge's finding that some Waterloo products do infringe the patent.

The commission said in a notice Monday that it would take a second look at Waterloo products that purportedly infringe Humanscale patents, reconsidering patent validity, domestic injury, claims construction and intervening rights.
