Novell Filing Stalled Amid Stock Option Probe

Law360 (January 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Novell Inc. has been forced to delay the filing of its 2006 annual report due to an ongoing internal review of its stock option grant practices.

The Waltham, Mass.-based company revealed the delay in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, stating that that it plans to file the report after the internal review is completed but admitting that it is not in a position to predict when the probe will wrap.
