Qwest Fights Colo. Regulator's Win In FCC Rules Fight

Law360, New York (April 30, 2010, 6:05 PM EDT) -- Qwest Corp. has appealed a judge's ruling that the Colorado Public Utilities Commission correctly interpreted part of a federal rule requiring the telecommunications company to provide its unbundled network elements to certain competitors at cost-based rates.

The company filed its notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit on Thursday, following a ruling in January that came down partly in the utilities commission's favor.
