DOL Unveils New Strategy For Preventing Violations

Law360, New York (April 30, 2010, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Labor has unveiled a new regulatory and enforcement strategy — called Plan/Prevent/Protect — that will require companies to take steps to find and fix violations before federal investigators arrive on the scene.

Under the strategy, companies will be required to collaborate with their employees to create a plan for identifying and remediating workplace safety hazards and other risks.
