CompX Denied Injunction In Keyboard Support IP Suit

Law360, New York (May 3, 2010, 4:29 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has decided not to enjoin Humanscale Corp. from making and selling products that a jury has determined infringe two keyboard support system patents held by rival CompX International Inc.'s that are set to expire in June.

Judge James R. Spencer of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Thursday denied CompX's motion for a permanent injunction, ruling that the company failed to establish that the facts of the case, evaluated using traditional principles of equity, warranted injunctive relief....
