Spain To Probe Honda Unit Over Alleged Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (May 4, 2010, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Spain's competition regulator has opened a formal probe into Honda Motor Co. Ltd.'s Spanish motorcycle unit and six of its dealers based on concerns that the companies agreed to fix the minimum resale prices for Honda motorcycles.

The Spanish National Competition Commission, or CNC, said Tuesday that it had launched an investigation into Montesa Honda SA and six dealers in the Madrid, Guadalajara and Toledo provinces of Spain.
