San Juan, Other Enviros Fail To Halt Colo. Gas Drilling

Law360, New York (May 4, 2010, 2:40 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Colorado has ruled against the San Juan Citizens Alliance and other environmental groups seeking to force the U.S. government to revoke permits for Petrox Energy Corp. and Elm Ridge Resources Inc. to drill for gas in the Rocky Mountains.

Judge Richard P. Matsch of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado on Monday affirmed the rights of the companies to drill in Colorado's San Juan Basin.
