Trustee Calls For Examiner In Visteon Case

Law360, New York (May 5, 2010, 2:59 PM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee for Visteon Corp.’s bankruptcy case has come out in favor of an equity holders group’s bid seeking an examiner to investigate whether the auto parts company could develop a new reorganization plan that offers a return for equity.

U.S. Trustee Roberta DeAngelis urged the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday to appoint an examiner, noting that the creditors and the estates would benefit from an impartial review of allegations made by the ad hoc committee of equity holders....
