CPSC Launches Pampers Probe Over Rash Concerns

Law360, New York (May 5, 2010, 7:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is investigating complaints from parents who say some of Procter & Gamble Co.'s Pampers diapers have caused severe diaper rash and chemical burns in children, an agency spokesman said Wednesday.

Scott Wolfson, the CPSC's director of public affairs, said the agency opened an investigation this week into Pampers Cruisers and Swaddlers diapers with Dry Max, a technology meant to enhance the core of the diapers.
