FTC Extends Deadline For Merger Guideline Comments

Law360, New York (May 6, 2010, 1:57 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission has extended the deadline for public comments on proposed changes to the guidelines U.S. antitrust regulators follow when reviewing mergers, pushing the due date back about two weeks to June 4.

In a statement Thursday, the FTC said it was extending the comment period at the request of several organizations that were planning to submit comments. The new deadline moves the initial deadline of May 20 back 15 days.
