Reliance Industries Wins Indian Pricing Standard Row

Law360, New York (May 7, 2010, 5:23 PM EDT) -- The Supreme Court of India has determined that natural gas pricing agreements between companies must adhere to pricing standards set by the Indian government, handing a victory to Reliance Industries Ltd., headed by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, in a fight with Reliance Natural Resources Ltd., controlled by his younger brother Anil Ambani.

The brothers have been locked in a lengthy court battle stemming from the division of their father's business empire after his death in 2002.
