C&T Recalls Faulty Drop-Side Cribs

Law360, New York (May 7, 2010, 1:25 PM EDT) -- C&T International has recalled about 170,000 drop-side wood cribs after six infants were injured when the drop side of their cribs collapsed.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Thursday said East Rutherford, N.J.-based C&T, also known as Sorelle, had issued a voluntary recall of its cribs, which were distributed nationwide from January 2000 through March 2010.

The products, which cost between $300 and $600, were made in Italy, Latvia, Brazil, China and Vietnam. The cribs were also distributed under the name Golden Baby Inc. before...
